To what extend should bilingual courses be offered in the public schools?

Bilingual courses should be offered in school, because this language is growing fast in the United States.  Yes, this is a country based on English, but the Hispanic population is growing fast everyday.  The language has caused many ratio issues with the English speaking people that do not know the Spanish language.  Many young people in school know the language, but they speak English.  Many older people that talk Spanish do not know how to speak English, and they do not care to learn the language.
There should be an extended course in school to learn the Spanish language.  There should be teachers that teach the language.  Many cultures are coming to America, but that doesn't mean that they cannot talk their language.  Based on the country, English has been the main language, but things change. In my point of view Spanish needs to be taught in the public schools.  It is not an easy language to learn, if you do not know how to speak Spanish, so starting early in life would help to learn, so yes it should be extended in the public schools.

Do certain children's toys create social or emotional or other problems?

Toys, were toys growing up.  Toys now, are being  created just to make money, and it is all about money.  We should go back to the basics.  Toys now are causing emotional problems, and some are causing death.  A doll was to play, now a doll is made to change a diaper, because it eats and it wets and all sorts of other things.  Toys are made, depending on the movie that comes out.  We have all kinds of toys that should be banned. They are coming from other countries also.  In other countries, they do not have any regulations, so most of the toys being made have had a chemical that is causing sickness, and even deaths.  Toys are more dangerous, and parents should restrict these kind of toys.  Guns are also being made, and children grow up using a gun.  It is causing emotional and other problems to our children, and the government should put a law in place, before our children, continue to have problems.  All these problems cause a child not to learn in school.

Should donors or their families be compensted for organ donations? How should people be selected to receive donor organs?

In some states like Pennsylvania,  legislature passed a law in 1995 approval of  $3000 stipend for the family of a deceased organ donor to help pay for the donor's funeral.  There should be a Trust fund just for emergencies.  Just in 1990 the waiting list for an organ in the U.S. hoovered around 20,000 people Today more than 100,000 people are waiting for an organ transplant.
My husband was one of the fortunate recipient. to receive a transplant.  He received his transplant in 1990. Ray was being  prepared for dialysis, and never made it for dialysis he received a transplant, before a year he was being prepared.  He was so fortunate.  The family of the donor, was  morning so all I did was to thank them for their support of the transplant.  " I am among those who believe that we have to have a reward for the people who are willing to give a kidney to a stranger as a way to motivate others to do the same (Satel, pg. 2).  There should be a solution put in place for this great need in the United States.  This is a great need that exists.

Should the government provide child day care centers for working parents?

In my opinion, the government should provide day care for parents.  The government would save on federal money, if they would sit down and calculate the spending on the federal budget.  This would also bring jobs to day care teachers, and regular teachers.    Instead of giving them free everything, day care would be the best solution.  It would train the children to stay off federal money when they grow up.  Having more programs like these would benefit the people and the government.  It would put people back to work.  The government should provide care takers, and teachers.  The government should sit down and just make a plan that would do away with food stamps, child support, and many other programs that are a waste to the government, and produce jobs for parents.  This would teach the parents and the children.  Now this is my opinion.  I would have to sit down and just calculate just how much this would cost.  Children need to be educated and this would be a great start.

Should Children be required to attend school past the age of sixteen?

By autumn of 2008 the government proposed that a new age leaving the school will be at the age of 18, and it will come to force from 2013-2015.  The absence rate for year 11 pupils age 15-16 is currently over 10 per cent and schools facing challenging circumstances even higher leading some to argue that leaving age should be reduce to 14 from the current 16.

They claim the legislation will result simply called "warehousing"  truculent youth rather than producing the skilled workers of tomorrow.

This new leaving age of 18 can be seen as a final effort to include the reluctant 23 per cent of 16-18 years old who don't pursue any education or training once they leave school.  It is probable that the final few will be fairly resistant to legal penalties for non-attendance-so is it a desirable or realistic policy to pursue?  But there should be mandatory efforts to help this situation.  It is a crisis in the United States of America.  It would help the situation with children staying in school and pursuing an education to combat the learning process for a job in the future.
But will the policy work and what have we learned, or should I say what has history taught us?

BIO POEM

My name Juanita
Has come a long way.......Life to me has not been fair, but I have found a life that will take me a long way.......Hardworking, loving my family --Daughter, sons, grand kids, my brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, all are part of the family, the unity in the family is important to me.
Birthdays, special days getting together to celebrate, just to be together again loving the family. It is a large family, but what are families about? They are your best friends, and people that are part of your life.  Loving all my family.
Some have left us, but not because they wanted to, but because  it was their time.  We cannot avoid that part, of life and , mmeanwhile there is sadness, loneliness, and crying because you miss them, and you cannot see them.  But then you remember that one day! one glorious day!  you will see them again.
Then it brings me to remembrance the accomplishments that we both had in life, and that was our family we raised them together, and we loved them together, those were the happiest moments of our life.
But then he told us, "Persue your dreams, and never give up." " Go on with your life and do not fear anything that confronts you." "Just look ahead and never look back."  Memories are there, but life continues
Proud to be brought up in Immokaee which means my Home, and this tells you about the Reyna name and proud of it.

Is Child Behavior Better or Worse than it was years ago?

Child behavior is far worse today than it was year ago.  It has to do with the system being in place now.  Back then when we were growing up there was discipline in the family, and it was the right kind of discipline. Communication in the family was very important.  Now the communication with parents and children is very vague,  due to the world changes,
There is more pressure  for children now, than there was back in the years.  Children are growing too fast and leaving the childhood behind.  They grow up in the early years of life.  The family structure has a lot to do with behavior in the family.  Children are left alone to attend themselves because the father and mother work, or there is only one parent.  This has to do with the child's behavior, if not monitored.
The changes in the technology word has to do with a lot of behavior, if not monitored a child can get into technology that would be harmful to the child.  Not only that now children are put on medication if they do not accomplish in school, or is very hyperactive.  Medication, pressure, parents, more demanding of them in school, and home has to do with a child's behavior if it is not handled the right and correct way.  A childs behavior is far worse today than years ago.
